Silver State Chapter ACNA
Hey guys, we are in the petition stage of starting our own chapter of the Audi Club North America. There is quite a bit of interest locally now and we feel the timing is right. Desert Audi is showing interest in supporting a local Chapter, and Audi Henderson sponsoring the Death Valley drive on Feb 24th we hope to have the full 12 signatures required by the end of the day. The signatures need to be from current paid members of the National Club.
We are being welcomed by the local Porsche Club as well as SinCity BMW Club. Both clubs have offered for us to join in their social events and Driving Schools.
Currently, SoCal organizes and runs our Driving Schools in Pahrump and LVMS, and NorCal handles Reno-Fernley. We would like to work towards organizing our own events at least in the Vegas area and then see how it goes for the rest. As a former event master in the Chicago Chapter, I know how hard it is to organize events from several hours away. Organizing the Silver State Chapter will give us more opportunity for local events and keep the momentum rolling throughout the year, over and above our driving schools which have been few and far between.
This coming Thursday a few of us will be getting together to discuss some details and obtain some signatures of members that may not be planning to attend the Death Valley drive. If anyone has interest in being involved in the organization of the local club, or participating as a Board Member please join us.
We will meet at Hash House A GoGo, 6800 W Sahara, just east of Rainbow at 7pm. There is great food and a lounge area in the front where we can congregate and conduct business as well as ample parking. Let me know a head count so we can give Hash House an idea of how much room we will need. For those who haven't been there I have included a link to the map below.

Dean isnt really doing much with Reno Fernley..there is no ACNA event their this year..
As far as I can tell. It is really in Nevada..I think you guys should have control over it...not Golden Gate Chapter.
