Default A8 D4 Air Suspension fault

Hi Guys,
I have a 2011 A8 D4 and i have the following problem pop up 36359 Valve for Damping Adjustment Front Left C1040 11 (009) Short to Ground.
So I changed the air shock as the valve is all part of the assembly and the fault still appears and will not clear.
I put my meter across the contact which are a + and _and it read 600ohms the unit I removed 600ohms and the front right which I know is good 600ohms so that rules out a dead short on the air shock.
Also the suspension lifts and lowers as it should. Obviously on the lowering cycle it opens the valves to dump the air pressure allowing the car to lower.
I also checked all visible wiring in the arch and fitted a new Duetshe plug.

Any ideas ?
Thanks in advance
Ian
