A-Arm bushing replacement
While at the dealer the other day for inspection, I was informed that I need to replace my A-arm bushings, both side top. I want to replace them with something that will hold up to my spirited driving. What would you all recommend for replacement. My car is a 2008 S6 v10.
Thnx.

Bushings are a trade-off. Stiffer ones give better control, but much harsher ride, and in general, do not last as long. read that last part again - harder plastic will slowly take a permanent deformation, rather than bounce back like rubber. I would use OEM, and live with it.

yep. Just as an aside - had a discussion with my mechanic about building a track car this morning. he was commenting on solid bushings common to race cars: "those guys stay off the turtles - if they don't, they replace the solid bushings after every weekend or so". Oh, joy. Thanks, no.
plus, i maintain that in 99% of cars, the biggest performance limitation is the nut behind the wheel.
