Default Bilstein PSS9 Settings...Let's hear them

I've done some searches, but haven't found a decent thread with a compiled list of what people are running. So let's get some info on:

Model
Front Setting / Rear Setting
Ride Height
Any adjustments/recommendations for track setup

Thanks

2 front, 3 rear, when I had them on my B6 S4. It's hard to get rid of that caddy bounce.

I have the PSS9 on my '01 TT (225HP) at setting 5 and they are great. The ride is firm not too harsh and the rebound is fantastic, no cabby bounce. Not sure if it makes a difference since my car is not a B6 S4, which shouldn't make a difference.

Default That's true for any suspension setting; that's why mine works at 5

That's the idea for offering 9 settings, is to give the driver numerous options for a proper setup regardless of the car. I don't and never had a 'cabby bounce' because I selected the appropriate settings.

Default No.

The nine settings are NOT provided so that Bilstein can sell one shock valve for many cars. each PSS9 is valved to a specific application.

The nine settings allow further turnng - say for street versus track, or to suit individuals' tastes.

Default Yes, you are correct I misstated what I meant

I had Koni FSD's with Ebach spring and I got rid of them after 2 weeks, not good. The reason I went with the PSS9 was because I had the ability to play with settings so as not to be stuck with a static setting that had a bounce, to hard or too soft ride. I also track my car at Lime Rock with other AUDI's B6 S4 (AUDI Club) with PSS9 and no one ever reported a caddy bounce.
As a matter of fact, it was because of the recommendation of two B6 S4 owners that I went with the PSS9. So I was a little surprised to see the comment about not being able to get rid of a caddy bounce.

Hope this clarified my initial comment.

Regards.

Default Much clearer. Adn no, i've never heard of Bilsteins in general ever being under damped.

Its usually the opposite.
