Just how reliable has the air suspension been on your Audi regardless the model? I'm still heavily debating the option since I keep a car for quite a while.

Air suspension issues are a when not an if. The airbags wear out and need to be replaced eventually. Same with suspension bushings.

It was the ultimate straw on my exit from 2008 A8. 115k miles and second round of replacing compressor, 2 air shocks, $$$...

Audi, air suspension are very good the sound they absorb is world class ..They are very comfortable .
You will find many forums with people with issues on air suspensions but do understand they are only a hand full of car compered to millions of cars produced faultless. I on my own project have a issue with suspension codeing but mine is rare..
​​​​​​​air suspension is So good that manufacturing has started back up again all over the automotive industry..Oil filled suspension spring and dammper were ruled out of the new A8 and S8..iv not looked in the R8 yet but iv heard Ferrari and many other super car manufacture's say air suspension is much better in breaking and cornering they are documents and video's on these output tests available to see YouTube...kind regurds
