I need coil springs for my 86 4000 quattro. I bought lowering springs because I can't get the oem ones or aftermarket ones at stock ride height. I can't afford true coil overs that allow height adjustment and I don't want to spend 400 on the sleeve style coils because I worry they won't work or won't fit. Been thru that with a vw once. So I need the dimensions of the oem springs without load so I can find a company to make them or a spring that is interchangeable with that dimension. I actually sent an email to audi asking for help, they told me that any audi 10 yrs or older they don't care about when it comes to parts.
