TTS suspension replacement options?

I have a 2013 TTS with the magnaride shocks. I put MSS springs on the car at 20k miles and have just hit 77k miles. While not an urgent need, I'm planning on replacement of suspension in near future. With the OEM price of each magnaride shock around $900, what options would you suggest for alternative replacement? If coilovers, which brand is best for daily driver? And what can I do to avoid the "check engine" light that would likely ignite on equipment upgrade/replacement?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

2010 Audi TTS -- current

After extensive searching and inquiring, I decided to stay with the OEM mag-ride system. But I got the parts from www.audiusaparts.com in Oregon. Great customer service, and a savings of about 30% overall. Had my independent mechanic do the work and saved more there as well.

Hope that helps!

I know this is an older thread, but I'm looking for any advice on replacing rear shocks on a Mk II TT.
I own a 2012 TTS with magnetic ride and 60,000 miles. The rear shocks have started leaking a bit, tires are getting eaten through at a ridiculous rate, and the ride is getting a bit rough. I was thinking about replacing the rear shocks myself in a couple of weeks but wanted to see if anyone had any pointers or suggestions on the job. I do a good amount of my own mechanical work so I'm not a novice, but I haven't worked on many magnetic ride suspension systems before.

Thanks in advance for anyone with helpful input
