vibration at 55 mph plus
I recently lowered my 2008 s6. every since then my car has had a shimmy that comes in and out at 55 mph and faster. I have replaced tie rod ends sway bar links, checked wheel balance. I can't figure out what is going on.....any thoughts?
The car has 101,000 miles and runs like a top. Drove fine at stock height and with stock wheels. New tires and wheels on it now.

These are the most common causes of vibration in this order:
1. wheel(s)s out of balance (force balance on Hunter balancer)
2. out of round or defective tire(s)
3. bent wheel from a pothole (not visible to the eye)
4 worn control arm bushings
Was an alignment done after the suspension and new wheel changes? Are any hub spacers being used?

was aligned, no spacers, I have swapped out all four wheels and tires. The shimmy is very wierd is shakes, stops and shakes, not like a constant like a balance issue.
