Hi,

I own 2010 Q7 TDI and approaching 55k miles (85kkm) regular maintenance. Dealer is suggesting to replace Glow Plugs as a part of 55k Maintenance. If I look at the official Audi Maintenance schedule intervals PDF, it doesn't mention to replace Glow Plugs at 55k interval, in fact it doesn't have it as a maintenance item at all for any diesel engine on 2010.

Was anyone also asked to do the same at 55k? or any other interval? This is my first diesel engine, so perhaps I'm missing something, but I thought glow plugs get only a few sec to work at the start ups and therefore it's hard to call them a maintenance item...
