Am I the only one upgrading my tdi?
I know I'm not, just wanted to raise some attention
What engine-mods have you guys done to your tdi-cars?
I'm running a bigger turbo (gt25vnt), custom exhaust, fmic, solid injectorpoints, high-flow LMM, adjustable tuning-box and a custom intake.
next I'll probably upgrade the fuel-pump and have it custom tuned

I have just recently purchased a 2007 A4 2Ltr TDi and am looking to make some changes to the car.
Who would you recommend on an exhaust\extractor setup? I know that we are stuck with the Diesel sound but what differences in tone/note have you got from modifying the exhaust?
I recently traded in my V8 Monaro (Australia's version of the Pontiac GTO) because the fuel was killing my wallet and miss the sound of the exhaust. I know this car won't be able to make the same noise but I am looking for an improvement.

Well, since there are almost no "bolt on" aftermarket exhausts avalible for diesels
I'd say your best bet is a good custom muffler shop.
I run a 2,5" custom turboback exhaust with only a race muffler placed far back and double 2" diesel-tips and the sound is much more mechanical and richer but a bit too loud IMHO

I have no exact figures...
but before the FMIC was installed the car ran even with a 200hp Audi TT up to about 60mph, then the TT edged away.
I now run an old KCRacing tuning-box that is manually adjustable but some time this winter the car will be properly tuned with custom programming.
