Default anyone remove a DPF

I'm new to this forum but not to TDIs, has anyone with a 6 cylinder TDI looked at or acutally removed the dpf system like ia popular on the smaller CR motors for performance and long term reliability? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

I guess not too many people have gone this way. I have contacted Darkside across the pond and they are looking into it. I will update this thread as I get new info.

Darkside got back to me and the replacement downpipe will not fit the US spec cars. They did say that if they get more interest that they could develop one but I think this will take a few years most likely. I'm not in a hurry to void the warranty. I found a local shop that is willing to fabricate one if I supply the fittings for all the sensors when I'm ready to pull the trigger. I'm going to contact Malone next and see what he thinks.

I know of a shop in Oakville just outside Toronto that does this.
