I have a 2014 Q5TDI and have 350 combined city and hiway miles
on it and have averaged 33+ consistantly. Looks like almost 700
miles on a tank.

I understand from other posts that the onboard computer is not completely accurate, so take these figures with how ever many grains of salt you prefer:

2014 A6 TDI

Average MPG for a tank of fuel ranges from 33.8 to 34.3

I commute about 18 highway miles, see indicated MPG ranging from 36 to 41

Selecting the "S" mode (rather than D) increases the fun rather significantly but also the fuel consumption

At 90 MPH the motor is turning just under 2,000 RPM
