TDI Horse Power, UK vs USA
I'm looking to buy an 2016 A7 TDI. As you know, here in the USA, we only have one choice for the TDI which is the TDI with the tiptronic. The specs list this as 240 hp. Now on the UK website the TDI with the tiptronic (they offer many with the S tronic as well but they are not as powerful) specs say they are 320 (metric), which is 316 imperial. That's a 76 hp difference!!! What's going on here?

They've only sent the milder tunes to the USA. We've never seen the hi-output configs with the exception of the V10 Touareg diesel. However, I think it makes sense to focus on the torque outputs...torque drives the car 
Also, there are tunes available for the TDIs.
