After the latest news. I am starting to worry that I am hosed.... I love this car but I have a lot of money in a car that may lose support for the motor.

GW73, I work in the technology industry and we see this all the time. So the key word is "may" lose support.

Here is my worry. The TDI will not be able to fix the issue in America or at least enough to satisfy the regulators, that now look like idiots for not finding and trusting Audi in the first place or worse they scrap the TDI company wide. That means I will have a car that will be on a life line for parts after about 3-4 years. I will be able to find them but they will be very expensive. They only sold 15k Audi TDIs in the US so it is not a large group to start with. That is why they are doing the buy back program and I would suggest anyone under 3 years of ownership should sell it back and if you live in California sell it back ASAP.

But that is all just my humble opinion. I realized I am skewed because of my job, but it is a very bad feeling when you realize to late that you held out incorrectly.
