I am getting my butt kicked coding this 06 A3 with OEM RNS-E to work with a BT module (letter G).

If anyone has an 06 with RNS and BT, I need your codes!

This car has tip, MFSW, RNS, no sat, CD-C (Icelink), and Bose.

I would think that we have K-line but no CAN, since the VAG COM writes to the Telephone module and other devices throw incorrect coding error codes if coded to "no phone" states. But the CAN gateway is coded to see a Telephone and it does not throw error codes.

There are two possibilities I can come up with.

1) The 2006 A3 8p US-spec with RNS from the factory and FW 0110 for some reason won't sent the BT module the CAN flag for "ignition on", thus initiating BT.

2) Our two handsets - a RAZR and a Blackberry 7130e - both have an inability to "see" the Audi box when asked to find new devices, even though they see Parrot kits AND they see each other.

Help would be most appreciated.

We can't even find the BT with a laptop, but we can find the other handsets...

Car codes OK, no errors on te CAN gateway, RNS-E is stock, and NO BT module can be found by any handset. HW tested in nsxjr's car, tests OK, but not in the A3.
