2005 A8 + 2008 NAV Disc = Disaster?
I've been through an MMI update that cost a couple thousand to replace the control head so I'm leary of doing that process again.
On the other hand, I want the 2008 maps and the dealer says no MMI update is required for that but I've seen other places that say anything version 4 or older DOES require an update.
So my question, if I just stick the disc in the nav, is it going to try to update the MMI or will it just tell me its not going to work and I won't risk screwing it up?
