I was just checking out the 2007 3.2 A6 options, and saw the tech package with Nav Plus, fancy key, Sirius, parking camera, and bluetooth phone kit.

* Voice recognition for phone, CD and navigation system
* Advanced Key
* Advanced parking system with rearview camera
* DVD-based Audi Navigation System (includes color Driver Information Center)
* SiriusĀ® Satellite Radio

I really don't want a new car, I'm perfectly happy with my 2001 A6 2.7T. But I'm a big, dumb geek who is tired of my behind the times electronics package. So the magic question is how much of the above tech package can be purchased and retrofited into my vehicle?

Which Nav plus can go in my car? Is their and upgrade to the color LCD in the instrument cluster option? Can a backup camera work with the Nav Plus LCD? How about the bluetooth features? (does any/all of this integrate with my existing steering wheel controls)?

Thanks for any pointers.

2007 A6 uses MMI, not NAV+. It will not work in your car. Go to navplus.us for your options.

A factory/DLR tech installed Bluetooth and FULL SDS (voice recognition) into an '04 A8 that did not come equipped with it. Amazing install it was!

Your A6 is the same as my '02 Allroad. Voice recognition for phone (BT) is available. I've got that. Voice recog for NAV, CD, Phatbox, etc will be along soon.

I don't know if anyone is working on advanced key for C5 A6 right now.

DVD NAV system is definitely available (RNS-e). I've got that.

Sirius and XM are available. I've got XM. I don't know how much longer XM modules will be available though. Everyone wants the color DIS. I don't know of anyone who has been working on that. Go to the site pierreb suggested.
