It's disconnecting after a while though, isn't it?

Posts in other forum seem to indicate that if the iPhone into standby it disconnects BT.

if you take the phone off sleep mode it stays connected.

but how long will the battery last if you take it off sleep mode?

not sure but you could also hook up the charger.
