Ensure that the remote's battery is in good condition and properly inserted. Sometimes, a weak or improperly placed battery can cause signal issues. If the battery checks out, maybe consider checking for any visible damage on the remote itself. Next, check if there are any obstructions between the remote and the AUX heater receiver. Objects like tinted windows or other electronic devices can interfere with the signal.
