Can't seem to check voicemail over Bluetooth connection w/MMI. What am I doing wrong?
Surely it's not this difficult. My phone is on the approved list (Motorola Q9M), but I haven't found a way to dial and listen to my voicemail from my 2009 A4 (MMI w/ Nav). Forget listening to voicemail, I can't even dial and connect to my voicemail. I've tried programming the "Mailbox" number with *86 (shortcut code for Voicemail for Verizon phones) or my whole phone number, or manually dialing *86 or my phone number from the TEL interface.
I haven't found a way to insert a pause and my voicemail security PIN yet either, but I figured I should at least be able to dial and connect before being prompted for my PIN. Is the PIN security feature causing my problems? Everything else seems to work fine with the Bluetooth integration (phone book syncs, missed calls, received calls, etc.) though I can't seem to answer some incoming calls because the "Answer" option is replaced with "Replace" (as if I'm on another call but I'm not!).
Any suggestions?

I know this is a older post, but I haven't been on and maybe someone searching can find this. I can access 2 different Voicemail boxes, my phone (BB Curve) and my office (while I drive in) - but I used my phone book from Curve - all the pauses and passwords were coded into the phone. There have been times that my phonebook hasn't loaded by the time I got to work, but I was paired to BT, so I just used my phone to select the Voicemail box but listened through Audi's BT system, it isn't perfect but it worked. There are clearly some phonebook link issues out there in B8/BT land, but my experience on every call made or received has been good, the phonebook load is a inconvenience only for now, could grow to a frustration.
I have had my A4 Prem Plus in Quartz grey for 2 weeks. This is my 3rd, 1st was a 98 B5 (sold to my B-I-L)in 06, 2 - 07 B7's (me and my wife) and this B8 (still married looking for something else). I have had very few issues with any of the 3 - this BT link to my curve is the first that I haven't resolved quickly.
