Default Delay hearing sound from BT to speakers - CK3000 with BOSE system

Following the successful installation of a Parrot CK3000 Evolution thanks to a purpose-made harness I purchased from a UK vendor (I just couldn't get the sound to pump through the speakers via the TEL+ / TEL- / MUTE routine), I have been experiencing a sort of delay from the time the phone makes a request for BT and the time the sound comes through the BOSE speakers. This, for instance, makes it impossible to hear the "ding" upon successful connection of the phone to BT (no big deal), or to hear the first word or two of the phone-based navigation directions (VZ Navigator - say what you will, but it's a great system) spoken through the phone.

Obviously in the latter case missing the first two words from navigation is a fairly large inconvenience.

Do you have any suggestions that may lessen or eliminate this delay? Perhaps a VAG-COM setting?
