Default Difficulty with onstar to bluetooth swap in 2004 S4

I have an RNS E with MFSW, Sirius, and Ipod. I installed a BT module by following the instructions in the tech section on this swap, changed the pins in the connector, double checked the pin locations, installed the BT module and antenna in the electronics box, and coded for bluetooth,( I think it was channel 133 or 134 in module 77), but have no phone audio either on the mic or speakers; The phone paired up fine and transferred the phone book. The MFSW worked both radio and when I pushed the R/T button, it would say not ready. Now the wheel only works the radio and nothing changes when I push the R/T button. Tried searching on multiple keywords...I cant seem to find anyone with this particular problem. The RNS, shows the mute Icon when I first start the car up (I'm assuming this is when I should hear the chime of the phone connnecting, but I dont get any audio at all) When I make a call I also get the mute icon on the RNS, but noone can hear me and I get no sound on my end. Can anyone help me out here on whether there are any additional steps that need to be taken to get the audio working? I have played with the coding a couple times and got some of the wheel functions working, but still no audio...I am using an original Iphone running the first software update which came out when the 3g phone was released, and a G BT module...Can anybody help me troubleshoot this? TIA

Default Retrofit RNS-E?

If yes, does your RNS-E adapter have the 10 pin connector for the phone mute/nf+/nf- wires? For the microphone not working, did you tripple check that you didn't swap mic+ and mic- when you changed the pins at the phone interface?

Default yeah it is a retrofit...

I'd assume that it does have the wiring since it does mute the radio...I'll take a look at the pins today... Do you know where I can find the wiring colors as well as pin assignments so I can doublecheck my pin configuration? I've been searching for a similar problem, but havent seen it...

Default I'm not sure if this helps

I don't have RNS E, but I did write down the pins as I did the work last year.

https://forums.audiworld.com/a6/msgs/756579.phtml</a
