Like can I just plug and play the nav box? I have the symphony 2 installed right now. I saw a description on pulling the GPS wire across the speedometer... but I don't really understand why that must be done.

Is the coding on Vagcom difficult to do?

Where can I get the bT module by the way?

All this information is just a little overwhelming. Just trying to see if its worth the effort or bringing more trouble than its worth since a garmin will have 3d views while I heard the audi navs don't even have that.

The Symphony II and the RNS-E have different connectors for power/signal and antennas, so you need a wiring adapter and an antenna adapter.

If you're in the US and have a shark fin that will have a GPS antenna, but the wire will end at the back of the car - so you'll need to get an extension to bring it to behind the dash.

Coding is easy - less than 5 minutes work.

BT module will also need a special wiring harness, which Audi do not sell (their official line is that this upgrade is impossible - total bullsh..). Best place to get one is from a seller on www.navplus.us - where there is also all the questions and answers you need about this upgrade.
