Default I hope they include a firmware update to get rid of the startup warning screen.

The MY07 A6 MMI doesn't have that anymore.

Default markcincinnati had his 05 A6 updated with new fiwmware to get rid of warning screen

I know the A6 MMI system is different from RNS-E, but I'm cautiously optimistic.

https://forums.audiworld.com/c6a6/msgs/27782.phtml</a

Default Most recent NAV software for my BMW has an 8 second "accept" screen, then times out

No reason Audi couldn't do something like that...

That would be an acceptable alternative too.

Default We will know in a few days

Rumor has it that Audi (or Navteq) is coming out with the 2007 DVD in a few days (or in January, who knows). As soon as we know what the firmware on that DVD is we will know if a) the disclaimer is gone on the RNS-E as well and b) if they introduced the European copy protection to the US.
