Head Up Display on tinted windshield?
 

Searched and couldn't find any previous discussion on this topic...

Has anyone with the Head Up Display option tried tinting their windshield (e.g. with one of the clear heat-blocking films like 3M Crystalline 90%)?

Just wondering if the tint film will have a negative effect on the display projected on the windshield. When I wear my polarized sunglasses, the projected display is a lot less visible...so I'm wondering if the tint will have a similar effect?
