how big of an SD card can the RNS-E read?
 

I have a couple 4 gig SD cards loaded with music but my Nav wont read them. Is there a max readable size?

If they are SDHC cards they wont work....
 

For some reason RNS-E will not read High Capacity cards. (HC)

It will read any size SD card (I've tried 16MB to 4GB), but it won't read SDHC cards at all.

don't forget the "item" limit, not the memory limit...
 

RNS-E is limited to 512 items, total of files and folders. A large memory card may not be necessary because of this item limit.

I have 40 or so albums on a 2GB card and there is still room as far as memory, but I am close to the 512 item limit.

Also, make sure you remove any special characters from the song titles.
