Default Nav says "drive up the wrong side of the road!"

Yesterday my navigation system prompted, on several occasions, for me to cross over and drive in the oncoming traffic lanes even though the proper lane is perfectly OK!

Gotta laugh at the juxtaposition of the directions and the song title .

Yikes, I think that's a new one. I've heard of navs directing people to drive into lakes and such, but I don't think I've ever heard of a nav instructing to become a wrong way driver like that.

Any idea on how to "report" this map inconsistency to Audi?
I know google maps has a way that you can report navigation or map errors!

I would also contact Audi of America customer support. @rccoleman is correct, the map data itself comes from HERE (formerly known as NavTeq, and now owned by Audi, BMW and Daimler and a few smaller investors), but Audi ultimately puts it together into an update and it's not clear how far behind they are. HERE's database could be fixed already, but Audi ultimately has to pull the latest data and push it out to all the cars.

The response from Lexus when I had a similar issues years ago was just to point at Navteq, but hopefully Audi takes their responsibility more seriously. I believe that the map that I pointed to is their latest data, so that's where you can see what's coming or provide any corrections.
