2001 A4 w/ Nav+ (RNS-D) and TMC box
Motorola T605 Bluetooth Kit.
Want to run through existing speaker (verified passive speaker works).

Problem: Mute does not work.

How do I know? Took a wire and grounded it to chassis while radio was running...guess what? Mute works and turns on passive speaker for phone!!!!

Here's the narrowed down problem: T605 is not sending signal to mute radio. Tried 2 different kits and both give me the same problem.

Help...I'm soooo close to getting this to work and I don't understand why it's not...

Mute and telephone wires were crossed in their install directions.

Hello,

I was considering this setup for my allroad Bose system. Were you able to get the MP3 Bluetooth to work through the head unit? Was an instal kit needed?

You'll need an Aux input via the TV/Video connection.

There's also wired connection you can use...the BT isn't that bad, but depending on the device you use, might not be the most reliable.
