Default Newb RNS-E question

I am about to upgrade my Symphony II in my 2001 allroad to RNS-E and BT.

I've searched for the answer to this on navplus and elsewhere, but have failed to find the answer.

I have a rear CD changer, but I'd like to lose it for a new DICE iPod module (when they add text-on-screen So I know I can use the disc drive slot on the RNS-E for CD Audio.

Can I save a nav route to SD, and then eject the nav disc and use it as a CD player?
