Parrot ck3100 install on Bose Symphony in Audi S4 question...
I took my car to a local stereo shop to have the parrot installed.
I was told that the 3100 can not be paired with my stock system because it is plug and play and it will not fit the bose symphony.
I was told i have to install a seperate speaker.
Is this correct?
Any ideas?
many thanks in advance...
btw i have directions for the parrot 3000 install. Is it the same??
Thanks!

Answer to my own question...for those who might want to know..
As you know BOSE has 2Ohm speakers. The way to do it is to splice BEFORE the amp with a resistor. Connect two front speakers only (Blue/Green & Red/Orange pairs).

Re: Parrot ck3100 install on Bose Symphony in Audi S4 question...
I just installed a Parrot L3200-Color this weekend in my 2001 A6 w/ Bose. It only needs 3 wires to work. The line out +/- go to the tel +/- and the mute to the mute. All connections are on the 10way ISO connector on the back of the Symphony.
The Parrot control box goes behind the glove box.
Oh.. the +12v, switched 12v I got from the bottom of the fuse box. Ground I got from a ground stud above the passenger footwell behind the glovebox.
This will display 'phone' on the stereo and mute it appropriately. I have a Dension ICE:Link+ for my iPod and it shuts off the iPod during a call.
Audio comes out the telephone speaker in the drivers B pillar. I used the Parrot microphone, I attached to the rear view mirror.
The CK3100 install would be the same (I installed one of those this weekend in my wife's Honda Odyssey).
Busy weekend... very scratched hands.
