rns-e fan draining car battery?
i have a feeling my rns-e fan is draining my car battery... had to jump start the car twice this week and I changed the battery so that's not it... when I close the doors and shut off the car, you can hear the fan loudly...
any thoughts? i installed the nav system btw

get some water, sit in the car, open the windows and lock the doors
Wait up to 15 minutes or so and the RNS-E should completely power off (you can see the screen going from all black to a grayish/greenish color). If it doesn't do this check the adapter harness and make sure that the wiring is correct (see this for the way it should be).
The RNS-E will run a couple of minutes after locking the car but it should leventually power off completely. If it doesn't it's in 99.9% a wiring issue (triple check D13/D16).

agree. Probably the alarm ground wire -- common issue.
Most of the harnesses on the a market don't have this wire because it's location depends on the model/year car you have.
