SD cards
I bought a Sandisk Ultra II 2gb card but my computer does not read when I put into digital media slot. It reads standard cards. Is there somthing I need to do for the ultra card? Maybe software update?

The older the computer/reader the more issues you have with bigger cards
I have an X40 and it had no issue to read/write my 2GB Ultra II or 4GB Transcent. But my cheap old PCMCIA reader didn't like the Transcent at all.
Not much you can do except getting a new reader/writer. Check the specs and makes sure they list 4GB compatibility.
