upgrading nav disc

I have a 06 s4 avant.. got a mailing from navtec about upgrading my map disc to 2008. My question is if I upgrade the disc does that do away with the nag screen and other junk associated with the 06 version? or is that something different?

The DVD available now will disable the disclaimer

Not sure what you mean by other junk but the map data got updated as well. However, just upgrading the software (google.com for 0200 or 0150 software for the RNS-E) will get rid of the disclaimer as well and the next DVD will be released in 8-12 weeks.
