What is this connector, and where can I find the pinouts?

I have an RNS-E (Euro P type A6 HW040 / US0150) that I was retrofitted into my B5 S4. I also have an OE Blootooth module which had been working rather well. The retrofit was done a long time ago, and my car has been on mechanical hiatus for most of the time since. I purchased the "Plug and Play Harnesses" from Lee H., (NSXJR) at the time, but it seems I have a wiring fault of some kind, probably associated with one of the car's K-Line diagnostic buses. VAG-COM works, but ECU Explorer does not. When the headunit is removed and the black connector pictured below is left disconnected, ECUx suddenly starts working.

I need to figure out what's gone wrong.

Does anyone know what this connector is and what the pinouts might be? I apologize in advance for the crappy iPhoto.

NSXjr (Lee H) has a strong track record of provding some good wiring harnesses for RNSE installs.

In your picture...it looks like the factory wiring has been "messed" with (see black female connector in your pix). Maybe you can start there.
