a4 fan removal
help me.my fan tensioner has gone and the belt has come off.i have removed most things around it so easy access.i cant get the fan off at all its a 1996 a4 1.9 tdi i can get to the 8mm allen key bolt at the back i can even get my impact gun on it but is it oppsite thread or not ie on/off on my snap on wrench but the problem is that it turns as i cant get nothing to stop the fan turning.its a viscous fan but the round part just turns i cant get nothing to grip any ideas would be great
