The 2013 Audi Club Lone Star Chapter State Meet is coming!



This year’s event will be hosted by the newly appointed Board of Directors in Frisco Texas August 9th-11th! We will be based at the Aloft Plano hotel conveniently located right off the Dallas North Tollway and Tennyson Pkwy in Plano Texas. There are several restaurants, gas station, and other attractions within a few minutes of the hotel. This location also provides quick access to the highway and starting points for each of our drives.

This hotel is newer, bigger, and better than anything else we have found in town, not to mention the fantastic rate!
They have a great parking lot for our Show-n-Shine , easy on/off access from the Dallas North Tollway, and great a location!

Event parking will be on the South side of the hotel, we will have an area coned off starting at 3pm Friday afternoon.

Friday
Friday night will consist of an informal meet and greet / registration event. Allowing everyone to arrive and get settled into the hotel, start meeting people as well as grab an informal dinner at one of the many close by establishments.

Saturday
Saturday morning will start off with the traditional Show –N- Shine in the large hotel parking lot. The cars will be judged on various points and the winners will be awarded prizes! After the car show, we will head out for a nice 2 hour drive on some of the finest back roads DFW has to offer.
We will stop for lunch is Bridgeport at Yesterday’s Café.
After lunch, we will head over to C.A.R.E. (http://bigcatcare.org/ ) to take a one hour tour of their facility, see some really interesting felines, maybe even feed a few, and learn about what C.A.R.E. does. We will be providing free cold water bottles to all members during this event.
After the tour we will take another drive back to the hotel to clean up and relax before dinner. We have chosen a local German restaurant for dinner that will help tie in the German theme for the weekend. After dinner, we will come back to the hotel and enjoy some free time to discuss all things Audi.

Sunday
Sunday morning we will sleep in a little, grab a lite breakfast, check out of the hotel, and head out to another fantastic Sunday Morning Drive. The drive will last a few hours and put us East of the DFW Metroplex in Pilot Point Texas. We will enjoy a 5 star lunch at the 4 Winds Steakhouse, share more stories, enjoy guest speakers, and more prize giveaways!
After lunch, you will find I-20 close by so you may make a quick trip home Sunday afternoon.

Rules & Limitations:
People who have already registered for the event will also receive these incentives; reimbursement will take place during event check-in.
