Default what can you tell me about El Paso? have a friend that may be moving there
it is safe, fun, diverse, etc? i'm assuming its affordable then again my friend will be getting free car and apt while working out there.

what are some must see places within driving distance nearby?

Default Its pretty out there.
But unfortunately its surrounded by 500 miles of sand and rock in all directions.

500 miles of sand?...No way! Ruidoso NM and Alpine mountains 149mi due north!

yeah, Im just being facetious. El Paso is closer to Skiing than Austin.

Default Big Bend, White Sands, Carlsbad Caverns, Ruidoso, Santa Fe, Taos,
not very diverse, IMO. And it's as safe as a city can be right on the border.
