I'm become used to the vB format from other BBs, and never was crazy about how with the old AW kwaf format even the busiest threads dropped off the page based on start date, but I didn't realize how much more user friendly it was for giving and getting quick replies.

It's definitely different. It's hard for people to accept change, especially for a forum they visit frequently (obsessively).
I think something has been lost in the flavor of what was AW. But I look at this as a "new" site, where the old has passed away. R.I.P. urAW.

It's a lot better. Older thread replies are bumped to the top and you can see the whole conversation on a single page. How annoying was it when you had to keep on paging back on a thread to see what everyone wrote on a thread??
