"Next service in 600 miles" warning????

I know Audi recommends first service at 10k and there's only 5350 on the odo now. What gives?

The service dude didnt reset your computer last service. You can set it your self.Check manual.

Probably set wrong. Our car, it is fixed at something like 8K mi. Can not be changed. Dealer has ...

....to reset every time on our car. If I do it, it resets to 8K mi. Try and resetting yours according to the manual. If it comes up with 5K mi, then the car is wrong and the dealer has to reset it when you have your 10K service for your 20K service
