Default 1 tire and both tie rods shot
failed state inspection today. anyone know best price on tierods and where to get them? gotta get the 1 Kumho too, damn.

lame...... what state's do real inspections on cars? do u have to e-test also?

Default probably failed on the tires, the inside of them being too worn. how are the tie rods shot?
did they fail you on that as well?

Va and i believe e-tests are done if i remember correctly one of our last cars failed for exhaust. got one bad tire, big bubble inside, never saw it before.

Default Replace the tire, get it aligned.. .problem solved. Have the shop check the tie-rods ends out when
they have it on the rack. Unless the "Inspector" put the car up on the rack and visually saw the tie rod ends wobbling he is just guessing based upon the tire wear.

Default yeah, they put the car up on a rack and a lot of play in both tie rods
anybody have part #'s?

how did they demonstrate play-- with a pry bar? or moving tire by hand?
