Default 100,000 Miles Plus?

Hello all, I would like to know who here has had an Audi go over 100,000 miles to date? I am interested in the longevity of the Audi's. Also What type of oil do you use and how often do you change it? I keep hearing about the quality of German cars sliding lately and I am curious about this.

Default It's early and it's Saturday. Yes, I have had an Audi

go over 100,000 and yes, there are a lot of comments about the decline in the reliability of German cars. VW is fighting quality complaints right now.

I am a recent TT purchaser, but had an Audi 100 (1990 model) that went over 100K miles. At about 135K, it just started to fall apart, something wrong all the time. It's gone to the smelter. Our TT's maintenance history is very good, 5 years, 44K miles, no real problems. Longentivity is a function of care and use.

I use Redline products because they work. 5-30 Synthetic in the engine and MT-90 in the transmission. Dealer supplied fluids for everything but the windshield wipers.

Default 115,000

We get this one a lot.

I drive 50-60k a year. I've replaced 2 wheelbearings, 1 swaybar mount, strut bearings, and the Haldex controller. These are the only non-routine things done to the car. Oh, and 2 parking light bulbs.

The swaybar mount and second wheel bearing are due to a major pothole strike last April that also slightly damaged a wheel and blew out a tire.

I still have the original clutch (slips when it's cold) and suspension, though I thinkI'll be changing it soon.

The car starts and runs like new, uses no oil between changes (5000 miles) and goes VERY well-MTM chip at 22k.

I may put on a set of OZ Superturismos, and make my RS4 wheels my winter set.

Default I'm at 97k and hope to God that it goes for double if not triple that! hehheh

just recently did the suspension and a new clutch is certainly on the way. i'm definitely keeping a better eye on it in terms of maintenance and if it goes, I'll simply get a new engine for it as love the design of it.
