Default 12 second TT

This may be a repost, but what the hell. I wonder if this car has a Stage 3, or a Stage 3 + 2.0 conversion? Well if only APR or PES comes out with an affordable kit???

http://www.hoppenmotorsport.com/news030731.htm</a

WHOA. Nice run. That car would have to be pushing about 400 hp to do that though.

That's what it's like to have a LIGHT car... must be nice compared to our 911 dwarfing pigs.

Default I can't find any coverage of that 1.8T challenge anywhere. Anyone got full coverage?

(for the tuner one and the enthusiast one if possible)

Default Whaccckkkk... Like Tube said.. 20k and all he got was a high 12 sceond run... No thanks..

from what I heard, it has a 2.0L conversion, their biggest turbo option, and some other goodies that aren't even available to the public.. APR Stage 3 Gtis are running those times with race gas and a few other goodies.. FWI.. There was a gti at the event that put down 370whp and he ran a 14ish..

Default There have however been discussions about MTM's bulletproof OEM reliability and peformance

with their kits actually getting good gas mileage and being very driveable.

Default Yes they're highly regarded tuners but that is still a lot of money.

I guess it all depends on if you would buy a 60 grand TT with that kind of power or if you would rather just have some other car for that price.
