I know I am going to get slammed about this but....is it really that much better to get the 17" wheels which the TT ? The replacement tires on the 16" wheels are half the price and I would think that fuel economy might be a little better with narrower tires. Ok, now you can slam me.

In general the 16" wheels are a better all around trade off for price and performance. For looks you can't beat the 17" wheels.

17" wheels are more likely to be damaged by potholes. Give you a harsher ride (due to low profile of tire). Increase the mass of the vehicle giving you LOWER not BETTER fuel economy.
