naahhh.. THIS is a Miata with muscle.. anything from 300-430 HP!!!.... at least.. they *start* as
a Miata.

<center><img src="http://www.rocknrolldoctor.com/images/dd5_mini.jpg"></center><p>I've personally driven a 240 hp Miata. There was a guy at Deal's Gap this year w/a 440 hp Miata. 302 w/supercharger. You'd never know it to look at it externally except for the dual exhaust. There are many out there w/200+ hp right now. I've driven several that were dynoed between 180-240 depending on induction, and the 240 I drove was only running 75% of possible boost. He's since tuned and tweaked to ~90% of boost, but don't know if he's dynoed again.
The graph is the dyno run on a 1990 w/a 1.8 engine transplant, featured in SCC last month. If he would just ditch the ugly Veilside body kit...

They had the West Coast Hot Rod show here last week... saw an Austin Healy with a....
426 Hemi under the hood.... supposedly dyno'ed at 500+ HP.... guy said that bigest problem was getting traction.... I wonder why?!?!?!?
