2001 coupe repair manual: Bentley vs. AESIS, what's the difference?...
Is the AESIS CD rom that the Dyment site sells the same as Bentley CD rom?
Bentley just sells the 2000, not the 2001, but Dyment has 2001.
Is one better than the other? Any reason to wait for the Bentley? There was a post last week from a purchaser of the Dyment who was pretty critical of it.

Both are made by Robert Bentley.
They share the same errors so crosschecking is useless. One has an Audi label the other doesn't. I don't like either but they're the only game in town so I have both. If you have a 2000 m.y., save some money and buy it from Uwe.

Give this a shot if you like.

Electronic Service Information now complete
Bosch has now added to the Electronic Service Information (also called Esitronic or ESI) the CD-ROM "M - Mechanics". This CD-ROM offers access to comprehensive information about mechanics with regard to maintenance and repair of passenger cars, trucks, tractor vehicles, tractors and special vehicles, starting from the models of 1970 produced by more than 60 automotive manufacturers. For instance, technical vehicle data regarding gasoline- and diesel-driven vehicles, wheel alignment data, maintenance plans including inspection intervals and maintenance diagrams, assembly and disassembly drawings for toothed belts including TDC marks as well as change intervals, location points of lifting platforms and oil filling quantities are contained.
The new CD "M" is part of the Bosch expert system Esitronic using Windows technology as well as common systems of all brands and featuring easy handling and quick access to all data. With the CD "M", Bosch offers now all relevant electronic service information for the overall range of activities of automotive workshops in one software package comprising a total of ten CDs. The first nine CD-ROMs of the completely revised Esitronic with a distinctly enlarged functional scope have been available for the workshops since last year already. They offer vehicle data, operating and diagnosis values, fault-finding instructions, circuit diagrams, diesel check values and spare parts catalogues for quick access. Thus, time is saved when preparing cost estimates as well as during maintenance, diagnosis and repair.
