2001 nimbus roadster: good deal or not?
msrp is almost 42K, i got an offer of a nimbus grey 225 hp roadster for 39K. good deal or not? i have a 2002 on order, and if dealers are willing to come back down on msrp, i might as well wait for 2002?

Re: Depends on options and location. A year ago that would have been a killer deal
it's got an ebony interior, premium package and the sound upgrade.
i'm in the sf bay area. i'm supposed to pick it up today, and i'm feeling really conflicted...

Get it. Nothing worth waitng for on the 2002.
Assuming it is equipped as you want it. Primary issue is if you plan to sell the car after only a few years. The 2002 will have a higher base resale value but your 2001 will have a "low mileage" premium that will make up most of the difference.
