Default 2002 Audi Concert radio replacement

Hey everyone. Its been a long time since I posted here.

The buttons on my 2002 TT BOSE Concert stereo are worn out. The red backlighting is showing through in a pretty annoying way... and besides looking worn out, its pretty obsolete as it cannot play my iPod.

Does anyone have any solutions (recommendations) for a replacement stereo which will look GOOD with the TT?

Thanks...

Alternatively, does anyone know where I can buy a new Bose Concert stereo? I can do that and install one of the nice ipod integration kits

Thanks for the reply SlapTTy.
They do not have one for me... do you have the stock radio in your TT?

If not, what did you choose to replace it with?

I would suggest looking on Ebay as I have seen a few either new or salvaged radio units on there.

I bought one on ebay that had clean buttons and then swapped the buttons on my stock unit. You can get detailed instructions on doing this here...

Thanks so much. What was the keyword search you used on ebay? I haven't found any so I thought I might do an alert to any auctions that get posted for the bose TT headunit.

I appreciate the help and the links!

just be sure the pics show the same kinda buttons you have and that they are in good shape - the radio I got was from an A3 but the buttons were the same - try not to pay more than $100
