Default 2002 Audi TT Quattro OEM Antenna

Bought a used 2002 TT ALMS coupe. It has an ill-installed radio mast on the rear of the roof that's half broken off. Was this the location of the car's antenna as manufactured, or did a previous owner drill a hold and place an after market add-on there? Where was the original OEM radio antenna located?

Just before the rear hatch on the roof. Very small mast.

The radio antenna is integrated into the rear window. The other antenna is for telephone.

Thanks guys. If the roof antenna is only for a phone, guess it's not the problem with my radio reception (AM bad, FM just OK). That must be attributable to the tint the previous owner put on the windows, even though that tint seems non-metallic in nature.

Meanwhile, still need to do something with the broken off mast for the phone antenna. Looks nasty by itself, but it's also missing the surround that goes on the antenna's base. The guy just gooped a bit of clear silicone caulk on there to prevent leaks. Not the best look.

Metallic tint most likely culprit but some time ago there was a flurry of folks who had the bypass capacitor on the antenna line short out.
