Default 2003 TT Roadster

Hi folks, looking at a used 2003 with 68000 miles. I'm new to Audi's and wondering if there are any issues I should be aware of and what to expect.
Thanks

Most important is that if the timing belt and all associated parts have not been replaced in the past 5 years, it must be done ASAP or risk a $5K+ repair. If the replacement is not documented, assume it was not done.

Do you know offhand what are potential problem years for DSG issues?

DSG was only offered with the 3.2 engine starting in 2004 and was not available in your 2003MY,assuming you are in the USA. There were reports of issues in 2004 but primarily attributed to drivers who abused the launch control.

I bought a 2002 roadster with 65k miles 9 months ago.
Love the car.
Make sure the top is working well and the glass rear window is well attached to the fabric.
I had to replace the top within a month of the purchase.
Also check the seatbelt covers.
Replacing those was a pain.
