2006 stereo code?
i own a 2006 audi tt and i'm installing a ipod adapter to the factory bose stereo. does anyone know if the stereo will request a code?? thanks in advance.

I believe Can-bus cars don't have this problem, it will only request a code if the head unit is changed. Check your owners manual.

pretty sure if you disconnect the power it will require a safe code when you reconnect power - the dealer can supply the code from the serial number, they may want money for that service though

I think that's true for 2000-2001, but 2002 + is Canbus and the system is just looking for the same stereo with the same serial # to be put back in the car. The later Can-bus A4 and A6s are like this also
